Weekly Infusion of Encouragement
Hebrews 11:6 – “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
We can do nothing for the good of God without faith or without love. The Bible reminds us that, without love, we make a lot of noise but do little good. In fact, without love, we are nothing. When we stand on the foundation of faith, however, our lives can make an impact in the world; when we work in love, our actions can make a great impact on the world around us. Christ taught about the reward that has been prepared, of the paradise that awaits any who might believe. However, the only way to get receive this reward is to have faith, to seek God above all other things.
Where is your treasure? Is it something here in this world or is your treasure the reward that God has prepared for those who believe in him? In what ways do you need to start seeking God instead of the world? Pray this week that God realigns your heart to seek him instead of anything else.
