Weekly Infusion of Encouragement
John 3:16-17 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
All of us are quick to recite this passage from memory; however, how many of us stop to think about its magnificence? God himself came to us, to save us! He came to bring to light the Kingdom of Heaven and show each of us the way in which to receive the reward prepared for us: believe and be saved! None of us stand with the weight of guilt on our shoulders but with a light spirit of freedom because of Christ’s sacrifice. Even more, the guilt of our sins is gone and the price has been paid all because Christ came to save us and not condemn us.
Are you convinced that there is power in the sacrifice Christ made on the cross? Who can you share that with this week; who can you tell about the incredible love of Christ? Pray that the prompting of the Holy Spirit to lead you in your conversations with others; ask God to feed the flame of passion that exists within you because of the saving work of Christ.
