Weekly Infusion of Encouragement
Matthew 28:19-20 – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
While it was Jesus’ message to make known to the world that the Kingdom of God had come, he passed the responsibility of taking this message into the rest of the world onto those who believed. Jesus directs us to go out both near and far to share the story of Christ, to make Christians, to grow the Kingdom of God. The greatest part of Christ’s commissioning is his final line: “I am with you always.” To know that no matter where we go, to whom we talk, or what we do, God is with us each step of the way! There is no greater comfort or boost to our confidence than to know that the Creator of the Universe and the Lord of Lords is not only on our side, but with us to the very end.
Have you ever written down your testimony? How has God brought you to faith, how has he been faithful, and how is your life different now that you know him? Find someone this week that you can share your life story with who needs to hear the impact God’s grace can have. Pray this week that God would fill you with his Holy Spirit and give you the strength to share your story with someone who does not yet believe in Jesus
